1 Commercial relationships and your choices
Enterprise by Design is operated by Enterprise by Design, LLC. When a recommendation or promotion involves a material commercial relationship, EBD will identify it where you encounter that content. You should not have to find this page to discover that a link or recommendation is paid.
This page explains the disclosure standards EBD applies. It does not mean that every mentioned business sponsors EBD or that every link earns compensation.
2 Referral links and sponsorships involving EBD
Where EBD earns a commission from a third-party referral link, we will explain that connection beside the recommendation. For example: "Paid link: EBD may earn a commission if you purchase through this link." We will say that a referral has no additional customer cost only when that is true for the particular offer.
When a business pays for content or placement, EBD will identify it as advertising or sponsored content and identify the sponsor. Relevant free products, discounts, hospitality, employment, ownership, or other material connections will also be disclosed. An actual sponsorship disclosure will identify the actual sponsor and benefit; examples do not identify an existing sponsor.
Payment may purchase identified advertising or placement, but not an undisclosed favorable rating. If compensation affects placement or a comparison, EBD will explain that influence. Product-testing, expertise, independence, and results claims must be supported; receiving a sample does not establish that EBD independently tested it. Third-party sellers remain responsible for their own offers, support, and refunds.
3 People who recommend EBD
EBD's referral partners may earn 35% on eligible paid memberships, including Enterprise. Monthly billing is limited to the first 12 eligible monthly payments. Exceptional annual billing is limited to the first 12 paid membership months, not 12 annual payments. A shared 12-paid-month allowance prevents a change in billing frequency from creating another entitlement. For example, after three eligible monthly payments, 9/12 of an otherwise eligible annual payment remains within the allowance. Free Minimum membership does not generate a payment commission.
Eligible workshop and advisory orders earn 5% when those services are offered through the program. Each new engagement requires an eligible referral; a prior membership referral does not automatically attribute future professional work.
The commission base is the amount actually collected after discounts, excluding transaction taxes, refunds, and chargebacks. Payment-processing fees are not deducted. Standard commissions use Net 30 and annual-membership commissions use Net 90, measured in calendar days from when customer funds become available to EBD in its payment account. Annual commissions are held for the full 90 days. The program agreement explains banking-day processing, specific disputed-payment exceptions, attribution, and adjustments.
Self-referrals and the defined related-party purchases do not qualify. Tracking choices must be respected. The program provides a customer-confirmed manual referral-claim route when optional tracking is declined or unavailable; declining tracking does not itself disqualify an otherwise valid referral.
Participation requires the separately accepted Affiliate Program Agreement. This public page does not enroll anyone, create a commission contract, or change a customer's purchase and refund rights.
4 Clear disclosures in every relevant format
A compensated EBD recommendation must explain the relationship close to the recommendation or link. For example: "I am an EBD referral partner and may earn a commission from your purchase." Use clear language that the audience understands. A profile biography, footer, hidden comment, or unrelated hashtag is insufficient when people can miss the relationship.
Disclosures must work in the format used: articles, email, PDFs, social posts, and live or recorded media. In video, an appropriate spoken and visible disclosure may be needed; a platform label can supplement the explanation. Repeated or lengthy promotions may need repeated disclosure.
5 Standards for claims and reviews
Promoters must describe actual experiences accurately and must not invent endorsements, identities, testimonials, qualifications, or results. EBD does not condition compensation or other incentives, expressly or by implication, on a review expressing a particular positive or negative sentiment. Do not promise earnings, business outcomes, accreditation, or course-credit acceptance that EBD cannot substantiate.
EBD will give participating promoters these requirements, review an initial promotion and a reasonable ongoing sample of active promotions, and require prompt correction or removal of misleading material. Serious or repeated violations may end participation under the program agreement. Honest criticism is not a violation.
